Description

– learn about safety and techniques for breath-hold diving,
– know and use the ABC equipment (mask, snorkel, fins) correctly,
– basic physics of the aquatic environment,
– the basics of proper breathing and pre-dive preparation,
– learn how to correctly balance the pressure in the ears and in the mask,
– the dangers of breath-hold diving and how to avoid them,
– learn the importance of co-passenger protection and learn how to provide it correctly,
– learn about the pool discipline of freediving,
– improve your results in breath-hold diving.

Theoretical lectures: 2 hours
Practical part in the pool: 2 hours

The course will be led by PSS International Instructor and Head of the PSS Apnoea Section Jure Daić. His references are published here. Up to three assistants help with the practical parts of the course, both in the pool and at sea.

Price includes:

– access to the swimming pool,
– a certificate of successful completion of the course.

The lectures and the practical part in the pool take place in Maribor and Ljubljana. If there is sufficient interest, also in other places where swimming pools are available (minimum 4 participants).

All participants must be aged between 10 – 14 years and have a good swimming knowledge. Your own ABC equipment is required.

Groups are limited to 4-6 children.

If there is more interest, there will be an assistant at the pool, so there is a maximum of 6 children per instructor.
