Many people take up freediving on their own – self-taught.         Jure and I met before the course started, as he had already done it before me. I joined the students from Ljubljana in the training sessions and got actively involved in the team myself. Although Jure and I have never met and I have never done a course with him, he has answered 5,000 beginner questions via emails and once joined a training session to help advise us on technique. As I was completely overwhelmed by apnoea and wanted to progress safely, I decided to take a beginner course with Jure. Even before the course started, I knew that Jure is a person who gives maximum attention to the individual and also knows how to motivate them (whether they are H2O-ers or not - my case ).         • 80% of people who venture into the world of freediving take a “kick in the dark” when buying equipment. Most of them buy pieces of individual equipment (e.g. mask, fins, diving suit) that are not optimal for their needs or physical constitution. There is also a lot of equipment on the market that is completely non-functional (e.g. a ventilator with valves). Only later do they realise that the equipment they have bought is not suitable. They then buy the equipment again, losing money in the process. For example, you could lose \u20ac250-400 by buying the wrong carbon fins. During the consultation, we will have a one-to-one discussion about your individual goals and aspirations for free diving.
