Jure is a graduate engineer. construction, father of two and lover of the deep sea. He was an all-round athlete from a young age, spending his high school years on the basketball courts, but today his biggest challenge is to take part in a wide range of sporting activities.
After a serious spinal injury and a year of rehabilitation, he had to find a sport where there was no risk of re-injury. Having been in love with the sea since childhood, spearfishing and free diving were the right choice.
He has trained almost the entire Slovenian racing sub-junior team. As a world-class competitor, Jure has access to all the innovations in the diving world that are inaccessible to most other divers. She passes on all this information and the wealth of experience on her courses to a new generation of divers and lovers of the underwater world.
Safety has always been the first priority in Juret’s racing career. Thus, in his entire career as a deep breathing diver, he has not had a single injury or life-threatening situation. Safety is also a major consideration in his courses. He has always stuck to the rule that only 100% safe diving is relaxed and a real pleasure! And she teaches all her students to do the same.
Despite Juret’s successful competitive career as a scuba diver, his greatest passion is spearfishing. Thanks to his dedication to spearfishing, Jure has become an expert in all fishing techniques and has a remarkable collection of trophy catches.
