Question 1: What will be Stig Severinsens total points?
Last WC Stig was the only athlete making it to the finals in all three
discplines. This year he comes with a new DYN world record of 225
meters and a new personal best in STA 8.40. What will be his total
points in STA, DYN and DNF alltogether?

Question 2: How many meters will it take to make it to the finals in
mens DYN?
Last WC 8 athletes went to the finals and they needed at least to swim
153 meters in the qualifications. This year 16 athletes gets a "second
try" in the final - how far will the 16th male swim?

Question 3: What will be the female DNF gold medal performance? How many meters?

Hi Sebastian!

I think this quiz is a good idea. It would bi interesting to see results after you chose the winner. I am interested what do people think about the results on WC. I think it will be even more interesting to compare best results from the last WC to see how much they improved in two years.

And the winner is.......?

Eva Johnsen was closest when it came to guess minima for mens final =156 meter. She guessed 155.

Westin was closest on Stigs results guessing 285 (Stig took 288 - I use his STA qual)

Balaz was close guessing womens gold DNF to 150 - it was 149.

I added all these points together it became 593.

Balaz and Westin was close with a 590 points.

Miha totally missed Stigs qualities guessing 270.
Miha missunderstood question 2 I think and guessed result to get into A finals (he guessed 185). And he guessed 138 for womens DNF gold.

The points became exactly 593. So should he win? No.

More fair to see each guess individually and see how close each guess was.

Which means MR. Balazs is the winner.
-1 for women DNF final, -4 for mens finals DYN, -8 for Stig overall.
